• Shoutcast proprietry format
• Requires a compatible player such as Winamp/VLC

M3U Playlist

• Generic playlist format
• Normally more reliable than PLS as most pre-installed players recognise the format

MP3 Audio

AAC+ Audio

• Direct AAC+ stream (when using an AAC+ encoder)
• Higher audio quality than MP3 at low bitrates
• Limited compatibility compared to MP3
